Summary
Nonprofits focused on international work have sued the Trump administration, challenging the suspension of foreign aid. These organizations were all recipients of U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) funding that was cut by President Trump's Executive Order 14169, which indefinitely suspended all foreign aid. The plaintiffs argued that Executive Order 14169 violates the separation of powers and take care clauses of the Constitution, as well as the Administrative Procedure Act.
