A coalition of non-profits providing direct services for immigrants have sued the Trump administration to block Trump's executive order 14159 and restore immigrants' access to legal counsel. President Trump signed an executive order titled "Protecting the American People Against Invasion," which required that all non-profit organizations providing legal services to non-citizens be subjected to an audit and cut off from federal funding. The plaintiffs argue that this executive order violates the Administrative Procedure Act, as well as the plaintiffs' First Amendment right to free speech.
