Summary
Doctors for America and the City & County of San Francisco have sued the federal government over the removal of government websites containing medical information for the public. The defendants are government agencies responsible for public health research and education. The plaintiffs argue that the defendants have violated the Paperwork Reduction Act as well as the Information Quality Act by failing to disseminate critical public health information and datasets in a timely and accessible manner. The plaintiffs request that the court declare the removal of government public health websites unlawful and order the websites to be restored.
