Bedoya and Rebecca Kelly Slaughter have sued the Trump administration for attempting to fire them without cause before their Senate-confirmed terms come to an end. Plaintiffs argue that their attempted terminations are invalid because they violate the Federal Trade Commission Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the separation of powers. Plaintiffs seek declaratory and injunctive relief.
